Milo Farrell was a pure-blood wizard and the father of Kevin Farrell. He worked an enchanter of broomsticks for Nimbus Racing Broom Company.[2]

During Christmas seasons, he would calculate with his son which end of Christmas crackers yielded rewards when pulled, and when he won, he would put all of the paper-made crowns onto his head and start to tell dry jokes. In 2009, he told one about how the England national cricket team won a match on Christmas Day 1972 because of it allowing them to eat turkeys for dinner. Kevin found it silly, but his father couldn't stop laughing.[4]
