They became part of a group that, based on their names, was named "The Lost Boys". The lost boys swore eternal loyalty to each other.
As the Reverend who ran the facility grew more and more insane and more and more teens disappeared. One day, Peter escaped and alerted the authorities but returned to camp.
The Reverend planned to kill all the inmates, but the Lost Boys managed to kill most of the supervisors instead and hide the fact. They were placed in different facilities following the authorities' belated arrival
