Bet Micherone was one of Urtho's generals during the Mage Wars. After Ma'ar's spell scattered the nobility, no one could be found to command the forces of House Laury, so she stepped into the position.

Urtho had the utmost confidence in her abilities. Her competence was part of why Winterhart refused to return to her previous identity as Reanna Laury, a scion of the House. She saw no point in taking General Micherone's place, as she herself made a far better trondi'irn than a military commander.
